How my journey began

I grew up on a small farm in rural Utah where I spent most of my childhood summers outside. I loved going barefoot, riding horses, catching the chickens, drinking from the hose, and eating veg straight from the garden. When my mom was diagnosed with cancer in 2019, I become fascinated with the science and nature of nutrition and how it can heal and nourish our bodies so I started at Southern Utah University to get my bachelors degree in Human Nutrition. I am minoring in Agriculture and in the future I hope to help bridge the gap between nutrition and agriculture in my community, helping make food more accessible, understood, and fun.
